Georgian Crystal is a large and beautiful porcelain garlic with delightfully robust flavor but not very much hotness. If you want a richly flavored, long storing Porcelain that won't burn you out, this one's for you. An excellent garlic for raw eating and in pesto, salsa, etc. When slow roasted this variety, it has an amazing buttery flavor that melts in your mouth!
From a grower's perspective, it is a large and healthy garlic to grow and appears to be relatively resistant to most of the diseases that can affect garlic. This garlic grows well throughout the USA, but even better in areas with hot summers.
Cloves: 25-30 large cloves/lb. or 30-40 medium cloves/lb. Bulbs normally contain 4-6 huge fat porcelain white cloves. These numbers are approximate and will vary slightly.
Garlic used for seed is generally 2" or greater, while eating garlic can be any size.
