Susanville-A softneck Artichoke that is rich in flavor and only moderately pungent. Susanville has beautiful purple skin, exceptional storage quality and true garlic flavor that is more flavorful than hot. It performs well in the field producing large bulbs and consistent yields, it is easy to grow and adapts to both southern and northern climates. 9-20 very large cloves per head. Can be stored for 6-9 months.
Plant in USDA growing zones 5-10. Great for southern growers.
