Tolerates cool or wet conditions, large uniform bulbs, easy to peel
Somewhat similar to German Red or Spanish Roja, but many think it is superior to both. Grows better under cool or wet conditions than most other varieties. Tends to grow large uniform bulbs about 2" in diameter. About 8-10 large easy to peel cloves per bulb. Superb flavor that is strong, hot and spicy. Some even describe the flavor as being slightly nutty.
