This porcelain isn't too hot, having a strong and robust and sometimes described as a "sweet" flavor. German White produces large bulbs with 4-5 large cloves. It is a vigorous variety with long roots that give it the ability to over-winter without heaving. Stores well. It grows well in all but the very-most southern tips of the US. Also known as German Extra Hardy.
